Tri It Now presents the

TIN Point Series, 2012

We're including four of our super sprint distance triathlons in a point-series for 2012. This adds another element of fun and competition to the race season. Be a part of it!

A point system will be used to award finishers within each age group in each of the four series races. Points will be accumulated throughout the season. Each competitor's four-race point total determines final series rankings. Competitors must finish at least two races in the series to be eligible for awards. In case of a tie in point totals, the winner will be determined based on the highest place earned in any single race of the series. Secondary tie breaker will be based on competitors' places earned in the last series race each completed.

In each race, points will be awarded to all finishers in each age group as follows:

At the end of the season, series awards will be presented by age group, male and female.

Tune Up Tri – March 25

The Manassas Mini Tri – June 10

Summer Super Sprint – August 5

Spring Ridge Sprint – September 1

Everyone who participates in at least two races will be included in the point series accumulated totals and considered for awards.

Races may be entered individually or by taking advantage of the special series package pricing available at the beginning of the registration period. For individual race pricing, see each of the race webpages on the Tri It Now site.

REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY
for full TIN Point Series package entries

$130 refund upon request for withdrawals received by March 10, 2012. Athlete will be withdrawn from the entire series. No transfer of registration is allowed for series package entrants.

Tri It Now is now protecting our athletes' registration fees with Registration Fee Reimbursement Insurance
by 365Competitors.
If you are sick or injured and do not start the race,
you receive 100% refund from 365Competitors.
There is no additional fee to the athlete for this protection.
For TIN Point Series package entries: if this insurance provides a refund, it will be based on the prorated portion of the package entry fee appropriate for the individual race missed.
